I didn't watch this film...but when Michael was flicking through the channels I spotted these men using a suitcase as a table to play cards on..the film was called "The Big Money".

Seen outside the Sea Shanty Cafe in Trearddur Bay in Anglesey recently. An anchor embedded in the wall to tie up your dog....makes sense at the Sea Shanty..

I know this isn't strictly a use, just a happy accident. but I liked how the old photographs look like they are floating, on the almost invisible webs in the Snoopers Paradise window in Brighton...a possible use for window displays....once you have trained the spiders.

I have been wondering what to do with these scales for years...it recently occurred to me that they make a great bird table and bird bath...judging by the water splashes all over the table yesterday I think they are enjoying a good bath.

Quite a few cafes I have been in seem to use the numbered wooden spoon method to indicate table/order number...and it seems to work well. This one is a the organic farm shop in Shipbrook Road. (a pleasant walk from our house).

The paper clip, since the advent of the re-set button,  has been used has a handy re-set button presser . I love how the apple store give all their assistants a mock paper clip...very stylish , but wouldn't a box of paper clips do the job as well and be a lot cheaper?

A bath used as a water trough in a field near the Trent and Mersey Canal, near Rudheath. This seems to be a common usage for the old roll topped bath.

Seen at Northwich station early yesterday morning (6.30am..too early). the Ticket man ran out of the office to avoid being on the photo... The "stand in"  Ticket man propped up the change tray on a stapler like he did it all the time..

Funny the things that get on the front of the paper...I salute the man who uses his initiative and finds somewhere to rest on his packed commuter train..no matter how uncomfortable it looks..better than standing. They should leave him alone....or provide some proper seats.

Tim Peake is out doing his first space walk on the International Space Station as I type this. Some amazing footage on the news and the interesting fact that they have a "toothbrush tool" for cleaning away any dirt, which is an actual toothbrush. I would love to know which sort.
