101 uses for a matchstick

From the original "Lady Killers". The one who drew the cut down match had to kill Mrs Wilberforce (or Mrs Lopsided as they liked to call her).

101 uses for a matchstick

Six lead soldiers found in an antique centre in Ruthin, two had become detatched from their heads.
So I put them back on with the age old method of a matchstick and glue..sadly there was one head short.

101 uses for an egg box

As seen on the boot sale at Hartford, I was too shy to stand back and take a overall shot....I got a few funny looks taking this photo.

101 uses for an umbrella.

After being mugged by a seagull the day before (it took half my prawn sandwich straight out of my hand), we became very wary when eating anthing outside in Llandudno, especially with a seagull lurking about in front of us looking interested. So we discovered the umbrella picnic method to avoid further food loss.

101 uses for a door stop

As seen at a lovely B&B in Llandudno. A wobbily breakfast table made secure with a rubber door stop.

101 uses for a Welsh Gaol.

A wonderful old Gaol in Ruthin, which is also part museum, has been converted into the Denbighshire Record office. The stone floors and thick walls make it ideal storage for documents and the cells secure lockers. This gaol has also been used for munitions. It was nice to see a building adapt so well to different uses.

101 uses for a broom

We stayed at a lovely B&B in Ruthin. The Wisteria was so big they had used their broom to support the weight.
