It was quite windy on the pier in Llandudno, wooden pegs did a great job stopping the jokes blowing into the sea.

Jess kindly sent me this misty romantic looking photo of another use for a peg. Pegs seem to have made themselves very useful over time, and here one prevents some hand cream drying out. The end of the tube was cut off to get to the last dregs of cream, but it turned out there was more cream left in there than expected.
