101 uses for a pine cone

Michael and Archie spotted this as the Pallant House Gallery in Chichester..the gallery had lots of very expensive chairs that they didn't want people sitting on..this was a visual clue not to sit...and who would?
After telling Pene about this, she said that in many National Trust Houses they use a thistle to deter would be bottoms on chairs.

  1. I've also heard in some establishments they use a custard tart but not any visual proof of this.
