Not a nice use by any means..but this Gregs bag made use of this "wall bracket" , an impromptu dustbin. It added a certain added extra to the beauty of Stockport station at 8am on a dull Friday morning.

We went back to the same wood in Marbury a week later and the first stick had been replaced by an even better stick.

We went for our annual walk around the beautiful Bluebell wood in Marbury and saw the gate being held shut by a stick. I like the fact the gate mechanism is so manufactured and the stick so roughly broken off...perfect fit though.

101 uses for a piece of selotape

It seems to be getting harder and harder to find things to put on this blog, so much so that I am now resorting to an unusual use of selotape (Yes I do realise selotape is used in many ways and isn't just for wrapping presents). But this use of selotape to hold up the leaf of a plant isn't an everyday use and looked so elegant I felt it deserved to be included.
Seen at a secret loctaion in Manchester. (I don't think I should have been taking pictures in there so it was a bit sneaky, hence the rushed photo).

Just back from a sunny few days in Brighton, spotted this man drumming on the seafront with his bike turned into a drum kit.

101 uses for a plaster

I bought a big stack of old knitting needles off the boot sale today...these three had lost one end and had been quickly repaired. Not sure what was used for the first two?
The green blob looks a bit like sealing wax.
The black blob on the end of the red needle is rubbery?
But the last one is a medical plaster.
Just so long as the wool doesn't go off the end ,anything will do..
