101 uses for a medical plaster

The building work hasn't gone as fast as hoped and we remain in a temporary office. I couldn't find a bit of tape or blue tack to put up a note on the door. the other day as I didn't pack well...so a plaster did the job.

101 uses for a Wooden Peg

From page 647 of Household Hints..
"A couple of spring clothes-pegs fixed to a piece of plywood three-eights of an inch thick makes a useful holder for working diagrams, notes etc. One side of the clothes-peg should be screwed to the surface of the boards, or strong glue may be used instead, although this last method is neither so strong nor so lasting."

101 uses for a Turkey Feather

from page 639 of Household Hints.
"Dust between the plates of a radio wireless condensor very often causes crackles in the loudspeaker. The best way to get rid of the dust is to push a feather between the plates as shown here. A turkey feather is best because it is larger, but it must be clean and dry."

101 uses for a bucket of straw

Page 642 from a book on Household Hints.
"Some hay placed in a bucket of water and stood in a newly-painted room will help to remove the smell of the paint."
